The app

Delete your account

This page is about the account you can make inside the Anandoham app (app.anandohamhealth.com). You can delete it yourself in the app, or ask us to do it.

In the app

Three taps

  1. Open the app and go to Me.
  2. Under Account, choose Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.

The account and everything kept under it go at once, and the history on that device is cleared with it.

By email

Ask us instead

Write from the address you signed in with, so we can find the account and be sure it is yours. We answer within seven days and delete within thirty.

What a deletion removes

  • The account itself, and the email address it was made with.
  • Check-ins and the readings made from them.
  • Japa counts, mālās, vows, reminders and the history by day, week, month and year.
  • Course progress, review cards and anything written in a reflection.
  • Saved verses, favourites in the stuti library, and game records.
  • Anything posted in Satsaṅg, and the name it was posted under.
  • Saved birth details and any chart made from them.

What stays, and why

  • Records of sessions and payments. If you have had a counselling session or paid for one, the practice keeps what the law requires it to keep. Those records belong to the practice, not to the app account, and the privacy policy covers them.
  • Anything saved on your own device. If you used the app without an account, nothing was ever sent to us. Deleting the app from the phone takes it with it.
  • Backups. Copies held for recovery age out within thirty days.
