Psychology That Understands
the Whole of You
A clinically rigorous, integrative approach to mental well-being —
for those who have always sensed that conventional therapy addresses the surface, while something deeper remains untouched.

Who We Are
At Anandoham Health, we practise an integrative form of counselling psychology grounded in both Western clinical science and the knowledge systems of the Bharatiya tradition. Our work begins with your immediate distress — and goes further. Because lasting well-being is not simply the absence of symptoms. It is clarity about who you are.

Devdarshan Bastola GMBPsS
Born in the Himalayan foothills of Sikkim, Dev pursued his formation in the UK — BSc Biomedical Science at the University of Manchester, MSc Psychology at ARU Cambridge, and an advanced diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. He is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society.
Alongside his clinical training, Dev has spent over nine years in rigorous study of Vedanta, Yoga, and the broader corpus of Bharatiya knowledge systems. From this dual foundation, he developed Dev's Vedic Therapy (DVT) — a structured therapeutic methodology currently being prepared for academic publication, with demonstrated outcomes across presentations including generalised anxiety, depression, and existential distress. Dev practises from Gangtok, Sikkim, and offers online sessions via Zoom to clients across the world.

Where Precision Meets Depth
Every major school of psychotherapy — whether biological, cognitive, or psychoanalytic — ultimately works at the level of thought: its patterns, its origins, its modulation. At Anandoham Health, we work within this clinical framework. And we go further.
The ancient Bharatiya knowledge systems contain precise, systematic models of the human mind — its constitution, its layers, the nature of its suffering, and the conditions for its lasting resolution. These are not metaphysical abstractions. They are descriptive frameworks tested across millennia of human experience. Dev's Vedic Therapy (DVT) is a formalised therapeutic modality that integrates these frameworks with evidence-based clinical methods — CBT, ACT, Person-Centred Therapy, and Gestalt — into a structured, replicable approach. Designed for those for whom conventional therapy has provided relief, but not resolution.
For Those Who Sense There Is More
Conventional therapy is effective — and for many, incomplete. If your distress carries a dimension that clinical language alone does not capture, you are not wrong. The frameworks we carry — inherited, philosophical, existential — shape how we suffer and how we heal. DVT works with that directly.

Begin Where You Are
The path to clarity begins with a single conversation. Whatever brings you here — anxiety, depression, a sense of incompleteness — this is a place where it can be understood at its root.
